What a wonderful last day here in Mori for the Simpson team! We started off with a devotion led by Alison on 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, in which she talked about how the Lord supplies all of our needs for ministry. We have all been encouraged by God’s work here in Mori and are entrusting in Him to continue to provide workers and finances to keep the ministries of Subbamma Christian Hospital and Riverside School going.

This afternoon, we were able to participate in closing ceremonies led by the staff of Riverside School and Subbamma Christian Hospital. Each team member was presented with a beautiful piece of sari fabric to remember our time in India. Each piece is woven here in Mori, contains 250,000 individual threads, and takes a month to complete. We were honored to receive such beautiful gifts,  and know that each time we look at those gifts we will think fondly of the people of Mori and will hold this village, the school, and the hospital in our prayers.

After closing ceremonies commenced, we were able to join local pastors as they discussed how blessed they were by the Pastor’s Conference last week. It was beautiful reminder of the Lord’s presence in India and how He is at work in this nation! Please lift up the pastors and their families in your prayers as they share the love of our  God with the precious people of Mori and surrounding villages.

Tomorrow we will leave Mori for a debrief in Hyderabad before we return home to the USA. But we leave knowing that we will never be the same, as God has knit our hearts together with our dear brothers and sisters here in India and revealed to us the need of laborers in this country to share the Gospel and to provide medical care. Through this trip we have been beyond blessed to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by sharing His indescribable love through nursing seminars, medical camps, and school outreaches. We hope to return again, but until then, we will hold up this wonderful ministry in our prayers and entrust it to the hands of our great and awesome God.
